Overnight maple pecan oats in a jar

Ingredients

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats

1 tbl chia seeds

1 tsp ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a small mason jar

Cover and refrigerate overnight

Top with banana, unsalted pecans and/or almond butter

Drizzle 1 tsp pure maple syrup

Notes

Chia seeds are leaded with omega fats, antioxidants, dietary fiber and protein.

Oats are high in manganese and fiber which has been shown to help regulate cholesterol levels.

Cinnamon is helpful for blood sugar control, so you can add and extra dash if desired
