Spinach Smoothie

Ingredients

1 banana, peeled and broken into four pieces 

¼ cup of whole almonds, soaked in water and then rinsed (soakthe almonds over night, or at least 8 hours) 

1 cup of frozen fruit of your choice (strawberries, blueberries, peaches, mangoes, etc) 

½ cup apple juice 

1cup almond milk 

10-15 leaves (with stems) fresh spinach, rinsed and pat dry 

1tbsp pure maple syrup

Directions

place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth (makesabout 1 quart) 


Notes

Help your body, help yourself!  Make an effort to includegreens into your diet at least 4-5 times a week.  You'll be surprised athow great you will feel in only a short amount of time.
